Double post: Board is acting wonky again.
What is the full model number?
Have you installed any programs?
Restore it with the recovery disk and Do NOT install anything else. Test the touchscreen and see if it still gives you trouble.
You could also install Linux to test it. This will tell us if it is a hardware or software problem.
