Changing motherboard HP-15b

Hello.
i have HP-15b130sc laptop, with 709176-501 motherboard (amd). Currently, both integrated 7600G and dedicated 8550M gpus shows code 43. I have tried installing various versions of drivers by many different way (ddu, program manager,...), and nothing helped. I have bought this board as a replacement for my old board (too 709176-501) which get burned out on two spots.

But i can run Sheltered, and sometimes The Eye of the Dragon (but very low fps).

When i open the laptop, everything seems to be working fine, even the heatpipe for dedicated gpu is heated (even more than the one for the cpu)

And I'm not brave enought to reball my whole board (never did it before, and i need atleast MS office and internet for university. And throwing my board in oven is kind of weird, and i don't have heat gun.

Trying to get to advanced bios via F10+A always fail. And i never had flashed bios, so I fear the brick.

After years of problems with AMD drivers (the never worked for me well anyways), the only solution that came to my mind was to get intel+nvidia.

I have searched for very long time about compatibility issues, and found none (only the wifi cards used are different, but i can fix it by using usb wifi). All connectors where they should be (one extra PCie slot, but that i will use for ssd), all voltages (both on battery and cable) same.

The main difference is between cpu and video memory:
The first one is my favourite in this "race" (1GHz cpu clock difference to the other one) with i5-3317U and 2GB video memory, but they find it useless and exaggerated on game-debate.com.

The second one is with i3-3217 and 1GB video memory.

I want to use my notebook for some basic gaming, like LoL, Planetary Annihilation, WoW, Dawn of War 2. And i never was with intel+nvidia, so i don't know how good they are. That's because i'm asking here.

So i finally got to the questions:

1) Is there any way i haven't tried yet to revive my dedicated gpu?

2) Which one of the boards is more suitable for me?
