Benefit to waiting on Pascal laptop?

Now that mobile Pascal is finally here (yay!) I wanted to consult the experts on when to buy. I've got my eyes on a Clevo P650RS. Is there any benefit to waiting a few months before buying? Money isn't really a concern but I'm more thinking about any potential issues with early-run production. Does it tend to take laptop manufacturers a while to iron out manufacturing issues with new models?
