GE72 6QF Apache Pro -- Is the screen supposed to be this contrasted?

I apologize for making a new thread, but I am doing this because this is urgent for me.

I'm having a few questions about my monitor because I'm not quite content with it, when everyone seems to love the monitor so much.
It just seems glaringly bright to me, and very hard to be content with the tuning.

My default MSi True Color settings is Gamer with:
-100% Brightness
-0 default for everything.

The only suitable modes to fiddle around with are Gamer and Designer (Native color space).
No matter what I do, it is just glaringly bright due to the contrast or forced color saturation perhaps.

I've ran an Android game on an emulator, and the colors were off. It is definitely not normal when the most ideal look would be how it is on my phone and how it was on my previous Alienware m17x r3 laptop.

Is this normal, or is my monitor just screwed up or something?
