Both laptops have a history on this forum, my R1, Was blessed by @somep3ople and given new life in 2012, then @DumbDumb kindly sold me his silicon lottery 2960xm which has had a long and hardy life and shows no signs of ending its life. Not only that it was also used to show that Corsair was horrible with writing timing tables so I rewrote the table myself with Thaiphoon burner to create 2133 DDR3 out of 1866 corsair ram. It has had the blessing of Harlon's 680m's in it and ran like a champ for years.

Then after a few years, she was retired and decommissioned and stored. On comes the R2, I bought this from @Identitycrisis , I swapped everything in from the R1. Since 2014 the R2 has had the 2960xm in it, recently I decided to make the R2 complete by swapping in the 3940xm from @Rengsey R. H. Jr. it isn't a silicon lottery but it respectably can run at 4.3ghz with no vid. at this time I sold Harlon's 680m's to supply my money for the 980m's. Which currently my M18x R2 holds #1 position on 3dmark11 (I know @Mr. Fox has an unofficial score that is a little better which I thank Mr. Fox for guiding us all down the path of the M18x's helping out with everyone).

Both of these laptops are proven rigs, they both run very well, the R1 saved the life of the R2's display when the EVGA precision rewrote the EDID file which I corrected and have the flash drive on hand at all times just in case it happens again. To the person that buys them both, I will include that flash drive so you too can be able to recover from that. @t456 Thank you for your brilliance.

Needless to say, it is with a heavy heart that I send these 2 rigs to tell another tale in another owners possession. They both have been astounding laptops and I can only hope that the Clevo that I purchase to replace them, can even reach the level of reliability of these 2 laptops.

Also this is a odd request, to the future owner/s of these rigs. I truly hope you take care of these rigs.

I know in the past I had a hard time parting with them as I had spent so much time and effort with them, but it is time to let them go and create a new beast.

I know this is a long and drawn out FS thread, but I have been on this forum for many years and I have owned many Alienwares, but these 2 were probably the best rigs I have ever owned and they have yet to let me down, hence the pricing, they are proven rigs.

Disclaimer - These rigs are not new in any way shape or form, the plastic retainers have snapped off over time due to tear downs and repastings and video card swaps and getting the sweet spot of the heatsinks, they do have wear and tear, the wrist pads do not have any true wear from use, I never used them, I always used a keyboard and mouse separately, the R1 however is oddly Tacky like not sticky but like it has traction, probably from years of no use. Everything part should be function when I ship them, they will ship with full insurance of the value of the laptops and they will also require signatures.

These laptops will be ready to go for video cards and thats about it other than maybe additional hard drives.

I well help with troubleshooting if needed but ***No Returns***All Sales Final***

When shipped I will record these laptops running as proof prior to package and shipment.

Due the nature of where I work, it can take up to 5 business days before I can ship.
Note I will be using the R2 up until the sale.

I only have one power cable to run the box to the computer, other one is in use, when sold I should able to source that one to the kits.

And this is just to show you that I was able to source a new clip for the R2 for the HDD ribbon, I haven't gotten around to doing it because it works fine, when I pull the SSD's out and get it ready for shipping I will put it in. Then sell the rest of the clips to fellow NBR members that are looking for the clip.
