Windows 7 64bit - fresh install, followed install order and stopped at graphics (after a failed Nvidia attempt to install), on a HDD non-UEFI.
Bought a 2GB 680m from Compeve on Amazon. The card has the nvidia emblem on it, but Compeve says it is a PNY OEM card. PNY says all their cards are stamped with PNY, however another person says they don't make it even when I gave him the product code for the PNY HP 680m for their HP-Z1 workstation. Company says PNY provided these to them.
Problem, I can't get the card to accept any nvidia drivers, plain, mod, or anything.
Bios/Vendor/DevID on card:
GPU z states bios 8.04.33.00.24 6/4/2012 Vendor Dell (1028), Revision A2, DevID 10DE-11A0, Samsung GDDR5
Kepler Bios Tweaker (using exported rom file via GPU-Z) says 80.04.33.00.24 6/4/2012 Vendor MSI (1462), Revision (sku 002), no memory ID (says memory clock is 1800)
HardwareID via Device Manager
PCI\VEN\_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_05511028&REV_A1
680m Board has green not blue PCB and verified Samsung memory.

You three appear to be the resident experts on all things Alienware and GPU. I cannot figure out what to do to get this card to work. Modified Video Bios, Modified System Bios or something else including the actual driver version. I have learned a few things today about what not to do once Optimus is working. I would prefer to keep Optimus capability.
Here is a copy of my bios
