M17X R4 Power adapter issues

Hey All!

Got forwarded by @D2 Ultima to this site regarding my current Alienware woes. He also mentioned I tag @Mr. Fox

Im using a M17X R4 with a 675M running Win 10. The issue I am having is power wise

- When using the laptop with the power I will get a message saying that the power adapter is not supported and the laptop will continue on the battery

- I would use the battery for a while until its almost dead (probably 15%) and the power adapter would start working again

- Around 80% the issue comes up again.

Something else to add

- When gaming during the rare periods the power adapter works I would also get the same error message "power adapter not supported..."
- The laptop would then switch to the integrated graphics card
- I tried removing the battery and just using the power adapter at one time. The system just shuts down

I am currently still using the A12 BIOS and was wondering if this could be the issue, or if its just defective hardware. Any help would be appreciated.
