Dell XPS 13" or MacBook Pro 13"? Need advice immediately, on my way to the store.

Last night I ordered a new Apple MacBook Pro 13" from Apple and is due to arrive in two weeks. I'm tempted to cancel my order and pick up a Dell XPS 13" instead from my local computer store in the next hour or two and cancel my order with Apple. What do you guys think?

OPTION 1: Apple MacBook Pro 13" - Specs: 3.1GHz Dual Core i7, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD (space not really an issue since all my data is kept on a local server), Intel Iris 6100, Bonus: 3 Year AppleCare + free Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones, Price: £1390 ($1840) I managed to snag the MacBook Pro 13" cheap using my student discount.

OPTION 2: Dell XPS 13" - Specs: 2.2GHz i7-6650u, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Intel Iris 540, Touchscreen QHD+ (3200*1800), Bonus=None, Price:£1400 ($1853)

I'd appreciate any input at all. I am having second thoughts about the Apple because its last refresh was back in Feb 2015 so it's still running old hardware whereas the Dell XPS is running the latest chipset and supports thunderbolt 3 (I own a bunch of thunderbolt devices).
