So I opened up my buddy's Clevo yesterday to install something extra, used a quality Philips Driver (Wiha Picofinish if anyone wants to know), and at the end of it, there were minor tool marks left behind.
I don't think that I've ever left tool marks on laptops before, and I've serviced a lot of Latitudes and Precisions. Only thing I can think of is that perhaps Clevo uses JIS screws instead of the standard Philips screws? Of course this is not a big deal since I can always replace the screws, but I wonder how Clevo resellers do it without leaving anything.
Any thoughts?
and they aren't Philips screws... ?
