Although there have always been a few exceptions, for years, many Android tablets were 16:10 or so. Compared to a more-square tablet like the iPad, this made for a better video experience (less of the screen lost to black bars) but was less desirable for web browsing and productivity work.

It seems like that's now changing. First the Nexus 9 went 4:3, then the Asus ZenPad line did, and now...
