Unexpected Shutdowns and Boot Loops

Hi all. My m15x started having random shutdowns (like power is cut) a couple days ago. I thought it was overheating so I took an air duster to the vents, tried a repaste, and pointed a fan at it while it was running. However none of these have had any effect on stopping these shutdowns. Since then, I have swapped out the 920xm for the 740qm, but even that has had no effect on the random shutdowns. In addition, once it shuts off it starts trying to reboot, but never gets past the lights...
