When did HTTPS stop working? Please fix :)

I use HTTPS Everywhere and for some reason I didn't notice https wasn't getting injected until my password was asked for at login (refreshed the browser), and I was warned I was on an unsecure connection - clear text password if someone is snooping.

When was https disabled??...
