plz don't hate me for asking this: What is the best laptop with a LOW resolution screen?

I'm helping an older person with mediocre eyesight buy a laptop. The budget is $2000, so almost any option is available.

He will only do the basic usage scenario (i.e. no gaming), mainly email/web/youtube. So I was looking at the Samsung Notebook 9 15" or a Dell XPS 15 because they're so light. But the screens are 1920x1080 which means the icons are tiny.

I like the Samsung because they make great quality components, so I trust that the display screen panel, RAM, and SSD will be of high...
