Issue with P750DM2-G screen dimming at 100%

So, I just got a P750DM2-G (Sky X4E2 from Eurocom) from @woodzstack and it's great. Love it. However, there is one tiny problem that I'm trying to solve and see if anybody else here has seen/fixed a similar issue:

When I bring my screen to 100% brightness, it stays lit for maybe a second and then dims down-- basically all the way to the lowest brightness. This only seems to happen specifically at 100%, 99% doesn't exhibit the same problem. This obviously wouldn't be...
