Image Upload Management / Display problems just started...

I attached a good image to a post, and placed it in the post and it saved without error, but it didn't show the image - the image only showed as an attachment even though a Full Image call out was placed in the post.

So I thought it might be a bad copy, so made a new one, and deleted the old one and uploaded the new one. It still doesn't display, and now I have 2 image attachments - yup, it didn't complete the delete...

Of course I had to try again, so now I have 3 undeleted image...
