Elan Smart-Pad intermittent ghosting

So I have been cataloging the varying versions of the driver available, the one they want me to use is 11.4.96.1 but I've been able to find 11.4.101.1 and 11.4.105.2. Does anyone know if there is any real difference between these drivers or if they are just really updated versions Lenovo hasn't posted everywhere yet?

I sent my laptop in for repair, they sent it back after restoring it to a default image and saying the symptoms were due to "image upgrade" whatever that means. Possibly...
