5 Year Old Sager with Audio Issue

I have a SAGER NP6165 that I got in 2012

Sometimes if i use the headphone jack, and hibernate it still plugged in, the next boot up the sound doesn't work.

The fix I found is to plug into the jack, test the volume, then unplug.

It's a little annoying.

Is there a fix?
