Figured that good time to start an owners lounge thread, a few of us (and more soon) already receiving and using their new Dell XPS 15 Skylake 9550 model notebooks.

The other running thread is starting is becoming full of speculation of those that haven't got theirs yet or still thinking about getting it

M17x R3 Synaptics TouchPad Best Driver Version Windows 7 x64?

Hi guys,

I went to download the driver for the Synaptics TouchPad from Dell's website but Driver Detect didn't find it. I found one I had backed up (15.1.19). But then tried the Synaptics website which had version 17.0.19. The install for the new one finished in a fraction of a second & said it was successful but when I checked in Device Manager, Add/Remove Programs, Mouse Settings there is no sign of it. Driver is the Microsoft one that would have come with the Operating System.

My turn to start one. I am holding out for the fingerprint reader before I order one but I expect them to start showing up at peoples doors within the next few days.
